Here we are in Week 4 of Lockdown because of Covid 19, waiting to hear whether the status quo will remain next week, or if we will instead enter Level 3. Mind you, restrictions will still apply, so we will just have to “keep on keeping on”, stay home and keep stitching. We have all learnt new words and phrases, social distancing, and keeping in our bubbles, and watching the daily figures of infection here and around the world.
I’m sure, like me, most have been busy on their UFOs, or perhaps starting new projects, doing a little knitting or embroidery. We all seem to have plenty in our stash, although, when we are allowed out and about again, I really will have to go and buy a new blade for my rotary cutter! I’ve recently completed some place mats for the caravan, and a little bag to put a couple of glasses in for Happy Hour. Although I’m not sure when we will finally get away for a caravan trip, not for some time I suspect. 2020 was the first Easter weekend we have not traveled away somewhere.

We are so lucky that we have our beloved hobby of patchwork and quilting to keep our minds busy in these troubled times. Do hope everyone is well, staying home and staying safe.
